Resilience and Regeneration: A Visit to Enfield Chase

A recent monitoring visit to the Enfield Chase planting site in London, UK, provided valuable insights into the resilience of young woodlands under challenging climate conditions. Shortly after the initial planting phase, the site experienced a severe drought, which unfortunately led to a lower-than-expected tree survival rate. Despite this initial setback, the visit revealed highly encouraging signs of recovery.
