Monitoring Visit to a Nice Urban Planting Site

A recent monitoring visit was conducted on May 27, 2026, to the urban planting site located at Boulevard de Montréal in Nice. This project, initiated early 2023, is showing promising signs of recovery and establishment. Observations indicated strong overall growth, with particularly significant development noted along the hedge side of the planting area. Trees situated in the central section, while generally shorter, appeared steady and healthy. A substantial portion of the planted trees were found to be thriving, showing healthy development. Notably, most conifers at the site were also performing very well. To protect the young trees, fencing has been successfully installed around the area. It was observed that some trees at this specific location appeared smaller compared to those in other monitored areas, though the reason for this difference was not immediately apparent during the visit.
