Spring Monitoring at the Krubin Planting Site near Warsaw
A recent monitoring visit to the Krubin planting site near Warsaw, Poland, conducted in early spring, revealed highly encouraging results. The vast majority of the young trees have successfully survived the winter season and are already showing promising new buds. Visitors observed that most of the saplings still retained small pieces of wool, a protective measure applied to prevent browsing by local wildlife. While a few saplings had unfortunately been uprooted from the soil, the overall survival rate remains exceptionally high. The site is developing well, demonstrating the resilience of the young forest as it enters the new growing season.
