Visit to Square Victoria Planting Site

On May 27, 2026, a monitoring visit was conducted at the Square Victoria planting site in France, where Life Terra planted its first Miyawaki forest (November 2022). The observations after 3.5 years indicated a landscape marked by spectacular growth. The site demonstrated a high survival rate among the planted species, showcasing the overall vigor of the new vegetation. One notable area, an entrance corner predominantly composed of Hawthorn, exhibited such density that it was visually impenetrable. Across the site, the established trees consistently appeared strong and substantial, characterized by thick bark and broad canopies that effectively covered most of the available space. Despite the presence of other ground cover, the planted trees largely dominated the area. The overall density of the planting was remarkable, making it challenging to fully grasp its scale and abundance. Virtually every living plant appeared robust and well-established, with extensive green cover across nearly the entire site.
