Monitoring Visit to Bestwig-DE-21/22 Planting Site

A monitoring visit was recently conducted at the Bestwig-DE-21/22 planting site on June 23, 2025. The purpose of this visit, which included experts from the University of Barcelona, was to assess the current condition of the plantation and the overall status of reforestation activities. During their time on site, the team evaluated plant survival, general plant health, and growth performance across the planted areas. Soil conditions, signs of stress, and the effectiveness of implemented maintenance measures were also reviewed in detail.

Experts confirmed that the vast majority of plants are establishing as expected, with their development consistent with the project timeline. This positive trend indicates successful initial establishment. Minor observations and recommendations were provided to further enhance plant resilience and optimize long-term reforestation outcomes. Overall, the visit validated that the reforestation efforts are progressing positively and are in line with technical and ecological objectives.
