Big family planting event in Las Rozas!

Last Saturday 5th November the Life Terra team was again present at the Great Family Planting that took place in the Lazarejo Park in Las Rozas de Madrid. Last year we already collaborated with the city for the organisation of this planting day, now we had the opportunity to scale it further. This year approximately 4,000 neighbours from the municipality and surrounding areas participated.

It was a spectacular day where families enjoyed planting close to 3,000 trees. This year, families again had the opportunity to use Life Terra's online tree tagging tool, where a photo of the tree is linked to the GPS coordinates of the species planted and logged in the Life Terra online platform.

We want to thank the City Council of Las Rozas for involving us and the group of youth volunteers from Las Rozas for their tremendous support in managing the participants. They are now also our youngest Terra Leaders volunteers.
