Checking up the Garraf natural planting site

The Life Terra team also visited one of our most challenging projects so far: the restoration of part of the Garraf natural park south of Barcelona that was devastated by a forest fire a few years ago. So far only bushes and occasional trees grow back naturally, but the rocky area without much topsoil and very little precipitation create difficult conditions to replant. We’re very pleased with the results of the wild olive tree and juniper bush, while some oaks and pine trees didn’t make it. Now, if only the wild boars would stop playing with our protectors…
