Citizen planting in Alfarrasí, Valencia

On Saturday, October 16, +50 friends and family gathered together to restore a plot of abandoned agricultural land in Alfarrasí Valencia.

The land used to be dedicated to growing crops, but had not been worked for over 10 years. The idea was to create a patch of forest that local people can walk through and enjoy. Included in the species mix chosen for planting in a variety of flowering trees and shrubs which will support fruit tree production on neighboring plots by attracting pollinators.

This planting was made possible thanks to the dedicated landowner and his family who coordinated materials and people together with Life Terra.
