Site Visit: Costera Benissa

A recent visit to the Costera Benissa planting site provided valuable insights into the progress of the project. The monitoring, conducted on April 30, 2025, revealed a generally positive outlook, with a substantial portion of the planted saplings appearing to be thriving. Evidence of maintenance activities, including irrigation and the removal of protective measures from well-established plants, was apparent. Notably, there was no indication of disproportionate mortality among specific species. Furthermore, the presence of natural regeneration suggests a healthy ecosystem response to the planting efforts. It's worth mentioning that the site has experienced drought conditions, a factor that will undoubtedly influence long-term growth and development.
