Developing natural ecosystems in Colmenar Viejo, Madrid

After our trip through some regions of Portugal and Extremadura (Spain), we have now visited a property near Colmenar Viejo. It is located in the regional park of the Cuenca Alta del Manzanares, a wonderful place very close to Madrid.

It is a farm that for many years has suffered the consequences of very intense livestock farming. Now the owner is gradually carrying out actions that favour the natural development of the ecosystem itself.

We hope to be planting trees and contributing to this great idea.
