Monitoring Visit to Echtergrund_Mespelbrunn Planting Site
On June 17, 2025, a monitoring visit was conducted at the Echtergrund_Mespelbrunn planting site in Germany. Experts from the University of Barcelona were present to assess the current condition of the plantation and the overall status of the reforestation activities. During the site visit, the team comprehensively evaluated plant survival, general plant health, and growth performance across the planted areas. They also reviewed soil conditions, identified any signs of stress, and examined the effectiveness of implemented maintenance measures.
The assessment confirmed that a strong majority of the planted specimens are establishing as expected, with their development consistent with the project timeline. While most plants showed positive progress, minor observations and recommendations were provided to further enhance plant resilience and optimize long-term reforestation outcomes. Overall, the visit validated that the reforestation efforts at Echtergrund_Mespelbrunn are progressing positively and are in line with both technical and ecological objectives.
