Monitoring Visit to Ertveldpolder Den Bosch

A recent monitoring visit was conducted at the Ertveldpolder Den Bosch planting site. The visit offered insights into the development of the planted trees. The survival rate for this specific area was observed to be around two-thirds of the initial planting. It was noted that this particular section presented challenges compared to other parts of the plot. Trees showed signs of browsing damage, and hawthorns, in particular, appeared to be struggling. These observations are valuable for understanding the ongoing development and informing future site management.
