First Life Terra breakout event and tree planting event in Czech Republic

Yesterday we were happy to celebrate the first Life Terra kickoff event and technical seminar in the Czech Republic. At the central municipal offices of Radonice (Chomutov) we were welcomed by several institutional representatives including two mayors (Radonice & Vilémov) and the forest owner association SVOL.

Also, Professor Vilém Podrázský of the Life Sciences University of Prague (forestry faculty) had made the trip to assist with a presentation on climate resiliency and our testing of more drought-resistant species.

Sven Kallen presented on behalf of Life Terra foundation its plans for the Czech Republic. The event was followed with a tree planting with local youngsters on which we will report separately.

We want to thank the Mayor of Radonice for his hospitality, all participants for their input and the translators of our colleagues IFER for their help.

Děkuji mnohokrát and we will be back soon!
