First partner planting in Monte Frio, Portugal

On March 20th, ANYH celebrated a small event in Monte Frio, Arganil (Portugal), to celebrate the International Day of forests.

The purpose of this planting is to reforestate the sorrounding area of the village, which suffered several fires in 2017.

The event was on a small scale due to the pandemic restrictions, but it counted with the participation of Arganil Forest Producers Association and Forest Shoes, the President of the Junta de Freguesia da Benfeita, José Pinheiro, and the President of the City Council of Arganil, Luís Paulo Costa.

More trees will be planted in the future.

Congratulations on the great job and looking forward to next activities!
