First trees in Egypt!

We are very happy to announce that we have our first trees outside Europe, in Egypt!
Together with our partners from SEKEM, a social initiative and organic pioneer in Egypt, and thanks to the support of EY, we have planted and tagged 7,000 trees for their “Greening the Desert” project which aims to reclaim 1,100ha in 8 years.

SEKEM has been engaged in sustainable development since 1977. As part of their mission, SEKEM wants to engage communities to plant trees to reshape the Egyptian desert into a more habitable environment, suitable for sustainable community development.

We are really happy to collaborate with them and we hope to continue developing activities together.
