Fun planting event with kids in El Bruc

Last week the Volterra team was excited to help plant trees at the public school of El Bruc (province of Barcelona). More than 50 kids from 4 classes, ages 6 to 10 participated in the planting of 50 trees in two school yards.

The kids were excited to help make the holes, plant, and water the trees. They were much aware of the need of shade in their playground, trees as a home for birds and insects, and of course clean air. Together we planted a mix of stone pines, holm & french oaks, cherry & strawberry trees.

Thanks to the Colegio Público El Bruc for its commitment to taking climate action now and teaching younger generations the importance of restoring our planet.
