Georgenthal trees thriving
Last year we organised a number of community planting events in Georgenthal, Germany. Today, we went back to check on the trees. Most were doing quite well, but in the holm & Portuguese oak area we found quite mixed results, with some trees doing very well, other barely growing (see first 3 pictures below). This specific trial is with innoculated trees (with the tuber melanosporum), so we's specially interested in following the growth and appearance of black truffles the coming years.
In other areas the more "regular" trees were growing as expected (see last 2 pictures).
Stay tuned for more updates!
