Green land in the Po riverbank, Italy

After the rainy season, the land is getting greener. Look how beautiful are the trees that have been planted in Corregioverde together with Consorzio Forestale Legno-Ambiente, Alberitalia and Legambiente.

Last month, we completed the multifunctional polycyclic planting on the Po riverbank. Finally, 10,680 trees of 9 different species have been planted, such as Sessile oak (Quercus robur), White poplar (Populus alba), Alder (Alnus glutinosa) or European black elderberry (Sambucus nigra).

We look forward to seeing how this diversified riparian forest grows and brings ecological benefits to the area. We are also grateful to our donors EY Italy and with the financial support of One Tree Planted who helped co-finance part of the cost of the seedlings.
