Monitoring Visit at LaJunquera Planting Site

A recent monitoring visit was conducted at the LaJunquera_Murcia_ES-21/23 planting site in Spain on May 7, 2025. During the visit, experts from the University of Barcelona thoroughly assessed the current condition of the plantation and the overall status of the reforestation activities.

The team meticulously evaluated various aspects, including plant survival rates, general plant health, and growth performance across the planted areas. They also reviewed soil conditions, identified any signs of stress, and examined the effectiveness of the implemented maintenance measures. Observations confirmed that a significant majority of the young trees are establishing as expected, showing development consistent with the project timeline.

While the reforestation efforts are progressing positively and in line with technical and ecological objectives, minor observations were noted, leading to recommendations aimed at further improving plant resilience and optimizing long-term outcomes. The visit provided valuable insights, validating the positive trajectory of the reforestation work at this site.
