Monitoring Visit to the Laren, Gelderland Planting Site

On June 5, 2025, a monitoring visit was conducted at the planting site in Laren, Gelderland, Netherlands. Experts from the University of Barcelona participated to assess the current condition of the plantation and the overall status of the reforestation activities. During the visit, the team evaluated plant survival rates, general plant health, and growth performance across the planted areas. They also reviewed soil conditions, signs of stress, and the effectiveness of implemented maintenance measures. Observations indicated that a significant majority of the plants are establishing as expected, with their development noted to be consistent with the project timeline. Minor observations and recommendations were provided, aimed at further improving plant resilience and optimizing long-term reforestation outcomes. Overall, the visit validated that the reforestation efforts are progressing positively and in line with technical and ecological objectives.
