Site Visit to Lomellina Planting Area

A monitoring visit was conducted on March 17, 2026, to the Lomellina_2025_II planting site in Italy. This particular area was established within a courtyard. Observations revealed that the shrubs were planted in a linear design, spaced approximately 20 centimeters apart. A notable aspect of the planting was the predominance of a single species. Regarding the overall health of the planting, the survival rate of the established plants was observed to be quite low. We are currently in contact with the landowners to better understand the reasons behind the low survival rate and to determine what corrective measures can be implemented to improve plant establishment and long-term site performance
