Monitoring Visit to Miyawaki Las Rozas Planting Site

On February 17, 2026, a monitoring visit was conducted at the Miyawaki Las Rozas planting site in Spain. The objective was to assess the development and vitality of the saplings established during the 2023-2024 planting season. Observations revealed that a number of the planted saplings have successfully established themselves, showing signs of healthy growth and adaptation to the local environment. However, the overall assessment indicated that a proportion of the initial planting had survived, which is expected in Miyawaki forests. The site will continue to be monitored to track its long-term progression and ecological development.
