Site Visit Report: Monestir St. Jeroni Murtra Badalona

A recent monitoring visit was conducted on September 30, 2025, to the planting site near Monestir St. Jeroni Murtra Badalona in Spain. The purpose of the visit was to assess the current condition of the planted trees. Observations indicated that approximately one-third of the initial plantings have successfully established. This assessment was carried out in preparation for an upcoming event in the area. This event will involve the removal of invasive species, a crucial step for the native ecosystem. Following this, plans are in place to replant parts of the site where trees have not survived. The monitoring visit provided valuable insights, laying the groundwork for these future restoration efforts and reinforcing the ongoing commitment to the site's ecological health.
