Monitoring activities in Germany

Life Terra is committed to monitoring the trees we plant together as a community and with various partners. To give our Web App users the highest visibility on trees they adopt, we geo-localize our plantings. If you plant with us during an event, you can tag your own trees.

Alternatively, our team takes high-precision GPS data as we did last week when revisiting two professional planting sites in Germany, North-Rhine Westphalia. The thousands of tree saplings in Betzen/Wendlinghausen (planted end of October) and in Ehreshoven (planted in March 2021) will now get through their first winter.

Some early snowfall this year made the tree tagging more challenging than anticipated and a fun experience nevertheless!
