More plantings with FNYH

Our partner Fundación Naturaleza y Hombre (FNYH) has carried out another planting activity with 16 volunteers, this time in Alto de Miera (Liérganes, Cantabria).

They planted 125 trees and bushes of 10 different autochthonous species such as beech, hazel, alder buckthorn, or hawthorn. The volunteers learned about the landscape and the countryside, the problem of fires, and the history of this area with Felipe II and therefore the need for planting.

Once in the planting area, the volunteers were able to see the silvopastoral management carried out by the FNYH and the importance of forest management in these areas.
