New food forest and hedges planted at l'Aurore farm in Aalst, Belgium

Food forests are all the rage and rightfully so!

Big thanks to the group of enthusiastic volunteers that came out these days in Aalst, to help transform a former horse hippica into a thriving new area of nature in combination with food production, social services and sport.

Together we planted close to 2.500 new trees and bushes from 25+ different species. Truly inspiring to meet so many motivated people getting involved with local climate action.
