New planting event with local schools in Las Rozas

Yesterday, March 25, we joined a new planting event in the municipality of Las Rozas (Madrid).

This time we Zola Bilingual School (Las Rozas) participated with 53 students (from 8 to 18 years old), a school that is very committed to the environment and climate action which counts with a strategic line of sustainability. Many pupils came as eco-delegates from their classes to learn about the Life Terra project and to plant trees on behalf of their classmates.

Together we planted more than 200 trees. It is important to note, however, that this time the tree planting consisted of the replacement of the trees. Last year, on the framework of COP25, Life Terra carried out a tree planting in a peri-urban park in Las Rozas. After a very hard summer and climatic events such as the Filomena storm, today we replaced the trees that didn’t survive.
