Visit to the Nieuw-Vennep Planting Site

A recent monitoring visit to the Nieuw-Vennep planting site was conducted on June 16, 2026. The trees, planted in 2024/2025, were observed to be growing well, appearing tightly packed and already reaching good heights with healthy foliage. The presence of numerous insects indicated a vibrant ecosystem taking root. A significant number of the trees have successfully established themselves. However, the visit also revealed a challenging situation where a considerable section of the planted area had been mowed, resulting in the loss of trees in that zone. Despite this setback, the overall development of the remaining planted areas demonstrates encouraging progress.
