Oak and Sequoia Tree Planting in Catalonia

We have good news! A group of friends & family came together at the Avenc ecohotel in Tavertet (Catalonia, Spain). The main task was to review a previous 2021 planting and help clear weeds. The different oak trees were doing quite well overall. In some places the trees had died and there we planted Sequioa trees together with the children, hoping these trees will adapt well here in this difficult climate. The trees were protected with "Cactus" protectors to help against deer and cows that occasionally visit the area.
