Planting event in Herdade de São Luís with Porcus Natura: come and join us!
Life Terra is hosting a planting event in collaboration with Porcus Natura on March 1st, near Evora, Portugal. Come help us plant 1000 trees and contribute to the creation of a self-sufficient agroforestry system on this regenerative farm.
A mix of 10 different species will be planted to provide shade and food for the farm’s happy pigs as well as to regenerate the Montado landscape which will produce cork and bellota.
Following his father’s footsteps, the landowner is using an innovative pig production system wherein each pig lives in a quarter hectare of nature. This 500ha plot includes an extensive regenerative system where goats, sheep, cows, and chickens build productive soil in rotation.
For this event, we will be planting a food forest that will be shared with future generations. Come out and support this pioneering project that integrates man, nature, and livestock so that they can live on the same frequency, thus building a true Holistic World.
