Planting event with volunteers from REALE

On Friday 19 November a tree planting was carried out in Villamuriel de Cerrato (Palencia) with the collaboration of 19 volunteers from Reale Seguros.

The volunteers were able to see and check the hardness of the conditions of the land where last year more than 1000 trees and shrubs were planted. One year later we returned to check the general state of the planting and to replace and protect those individuals that did not survive the first year.

Together we replaced a total of 100 trees and shrubs from those species that have given the best survival rate during this year, which includes forest species such as holm oak (Quercus ilex), Portuguese oak (Quercus faginea), Prickly juniper (Juniperus oxycedrus), Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa) and Common hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna).
