Planting with Plant for the Planet in Zarzalejo, Madrid

Great planting day in Zarzalejo (Madrid) organised by our partner Plant for the Planet with the help of Volterra ecosystems.

Almost 40 Plant for the Planet Academy students came to plant 55 trees in a burnt area. In 2020, there was a very big forest fire that affected more than 1100 ha of Mediterranean forest.

This planting day is the beginning of a bigger reforestation project that aims to improve the landscape and the ecological value of this important area. We thank Zurich Seguros for making this happen!
