Professional planting in Alzira with Interpreta Natura

Professional planting at Alzira – La Casella facilitated by Interpreta Natura.

Forestry and Environmental Management students, together with volunteers from CEPAIM, planted 75 trees using different techniques (Cocoons, biochar, micro-algae, and “catúfol”) and five species (strawberry tree, lentisk, aleppo pine, South European flowering ash, and holm oak.

This experimental plantation is part of a scientific research and will be regularly monitored and supervised by UPV experts. It will provide us with valuable insight on effective strategies of climate change adaptation in challenging areas (hot temperatures/long summers).
