Small event at Smathko Mountain, Greece±

On Saturday 29th of May, the last small event of Y1 took place in the Hiking Shelter of Greek Mountaineers of Kozani at Smathko Mountain. Life Terra, in cooperation with CERTH and the local team of the Greek Guiding Association (GGA) offered a pleasant and beautiful experience to many participants of different ages (young members of GGA of Kozani, parents with their children and representatives of Greek Hikers Club of Kozani).

Participants had the opportunity to know about the Life Terra project and discussed the importance of tree planting. During the event, we planted oak and cypress trees in a nice place with a panoramic view of the city of Kozani and the artificial Lake of Polyfytos. All COVID-19 protocol measures were followed for the safety of the participants.
