Snowy planting day in Cantabria

Despite the cold and the snow, nothing can stop our partners Fundación Naturaleza y Hombre from planting trees in the Alto Miera in Cantabria.

Last Saturday 18th of February they were together with a group of 14 volunteers reforesting one of their plots where they also carry out livestock management. There the volunteers learned not only how to plant trees, but also about the native species as well as the landscape and the problem of deforestation in this area.

In general, they were fortunate with the day, wonderful sunshine and some snow. The soil was also perfect for planting.
