Student awareness action in Greece

On Thursday the 3rd of November, to commemorate the Global School Action Day, the CERTH team visited the 8th Elementary school of New Philadelphia, in Attica, Greece, in an attempt to inform students and teachers about the Life Terra project, as well as to raise awareness on the importance of tree planting and the effects of the climate crisis.

The action was an initiative of the school teachers who use the Terra Mission education pack. After the presentation, two lemon trees and an olive tree were planted in the schoolyard by the students, as a symbol of the action and a promise for a “greener” future.
