Successful webinar on innovative techniques for ecosystem restoration!

Our partners from Interpreta Natura invited Odile Rodríguez de la Fuente, the daughter of Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, a renowned naturalist and broadcaster. She gave an inspirational speech on the importance of restoring nature as it was before long-term human impact.

Experts from the Centre for Forestry Research and Experimentation (CIEF) in Valencia, Spain, presented their research on habitat structure, quality of seedlings, species selection, and their relevance in ecological restoration.

Life Terra explained our strategy for using state-of-the-art tecnologies in forest monitoring and how our “tag a tree” platform can engage and facilitate long-term maintenance of the trees planted.

Students from the EFA La Malvesia presented their experimental project SAURI in which they are trialing different techniques provided by Life Terra (such as Cocoons, micro-algae, and biochar) to increase water retention and tree survival in reforestation.

More than 50 people attended the session, including students, experts in forestry, teachers, and even some trained Terra Leaders! Thanks to Interpreta Natura for organizing this event and facilitate dissemination and networking between restoration specialists and initiatives!
