The Netherlands opens the first planting event of the Season

We opened the new planting season in Amsterdam with a hands-on day at De Natuurkamer in Amsterdam-West. Together with 30 members of Greenbookings, we planted 1,000 young trees in a green pocket of the city where people come to learn, play and reconnect with nature.

Greenbookings supports climate action and healthier environments by helping Dutch event and meeting venues plant trees. This time their community joined us in the field and put that mission into practice.

After planting, Floris & Van Maurik spoiled everyone with good food, which felt well earned after a few hours in the soil. Lowlander Botanical Beer closed the day with their seasonal brews, including pine-needle and pumpkin beers that couldn’t have fit the setting better.

Thanks to Fabian van Beek and Hylke Thiry from Greenbookings for setting up the collaboration, and to Koos and Merijn from De Natuurkamer for welcoming the group to their space.

A simple day outside, good people, and a thousand new trees in the ground. A steady start to the season.
