Tree planting with local schools in Las Rozas

Last week, Wednesday 10th of March and Friday 12th of March, we planted with the local primary school Vicente Aleixandre, in Las Rozas Madrid. Students between 7 and 10 years old enjoyed planting with their “bubble” class more than 300 trees in one of the peri-urban parks of their municipality.

Together, we have learned a lot about trees and have also helped to improve a closest natural environment planting in a diverse mix of tree species: Ulmus minor, Quercus ilex, Fraxinus angustifolia, Pinus pinea, Juniperus oxycedrus, Crataegus monogyna, Salix alba, Salix atroccinerea, Pinus pinaster, Populus nigra, Quercus faginea, Quercus suber, Acer monspessulanum, Pistacia terebinthus, Prunus dulcis, Prunus amygdalus, Pinus sylvestris, Arbutus unedo, Cupressus sempervirens.

Great job and thanks to the Ayuntamiento of Las Rozas for this great initiative and their collaboration!
