Trovador: a robot to replant burned forest

Trovador is a cool new project from Portugal that's mixing tech with nature to help restore the environment. They're working on a robot that can plant trees in tough spots where people can't easily get to, like steep or burned areas. This robot is still in development, but it's designed to check soil, dig holes, plant trees, and pack the soil around them.

Created by Sebastiao Mendonca and Marta Bernardino, a group of young thinkers backed by the latest advancements in robotics and environmental research, Trovador is dedicated to making climate action easier and more effective. They're testing it out with volunteer teams to plant trees in the Mediterranean, and they're learning a lot as they go.

As they work with Life Terra, Trovador shows how new tech can help us fight climate change and inspire more teamwork and innovation. This is just the start, and they're looking to make a big impact across Europe and beyond!
