Visit to Porcus Natura in Portugal

The Life Terra team was happy to visit Porcus natura farm in Alentejo where 700 ha are farmed with regenerative agriculture techniques, including rotational grazing of 4 species of animals.

The traditional oak forested “Montado” system (called “Dehesa” in Spain) can always use new trees to accelerate regeneration and give shade and feed to the animals. Together with the owner, Francisco, we’ll plant more than 1,000 new trees this coming winter as a first trial.
