Visiting the food forest in Rijsbergen

This summer we got pleasantly surprised by the amazing growth of the trees at the Vrij Leven food forest in Rijsbergen, the Netherlands.  We planted more than 20 species in March with the help of volunteers, staff and students of Avans Hogeschool.

Thanks to the good care of owners Roselie and Marc and no doubt helped by the permaculture approach (mulching, cover crops, etc.), we foresee a beautiful food forest in the making.
