We keep planting in Greece!

Last week, on May 19th, Life Terra and CERTH organized a new planting day in the Municipal Community of Argos Orestiko, Regional Unit of Kastoria, Greece. High school students planted sycamore trees in two specific locations of the community in order to improve the landscape aesthetics and contribute to climate change mitigation.

This event was being supported by the Technical Services of the Municipal Community and the Fire Service who offered mechanical equipment for hole digging and water tanks for trees watering respectively. 110 trees was planted in the riparian area of the artificial lake located in the Dam of Vrahos.

The event complied with the requirements of the Greek Protocol for the prevention of Covid-19.
