Antoniusschool kids plant 500 trees in the rain

The Antoniusschool in Aerdenhout was invited to plant trees with Life Terra. After a lesson about the importance of trees and climate change, we took direct climate action with the three schoolclasses, and planted a hedge of 500 trees and shrubs on Herenboerderij Heemstede. This hedge will be a safe haven for birds, provide flowers for pollinators and serve as a windbreak for the herb-garden.

These kids were unstoppable, because despite the rain and difficult soil, they managed to plant all the trees. Afterwards, a nice muffin and applepie was waiting for them, made by the volunteers of Herenboerderij Heemstede as a thank you for their efforts.
