Family Planting in Las Rozas 2025
The new planting season started strong with the fifth edition of the Las Rozas Family Planting!
Every year, this event brings together thousands of people in the municipality of Las Rozas, on the outskirts of Madrid, for a full day of tree planting, sustainability workshops for children, and even live music and dance.
This year, we planted 1,630 native plants of 14 different species on a degraded hillside area, helping to restore biodiversity, improve soil stability, and bring new life to the local landscape. Events like this show how community-led action can make urban areas healthier, greener, and more beautiful.
A big thank you to the Jóvenes Voluntarios de Las Rozas, who once again took part in Life Terra’s planting workshop and helped guide the many families who joined us. And of course, our thanks to the Las Rozas Municipality and its mayor, José de la Uz, for continuing to support initiatives that connect the community with nature through education and hands-on restoration.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s edition!
