Finca Rafiki Planting Site Visit

A visit to the Finca Rafiki_23-24 planting site on May 6, 2025, provided valuable insights into the progress of the project. Maintenance activities, including irrigation, have been carried out at the site. It was observed that the survival rate of the planted trees is moderate, with certain species, specifically walnut (Juglans regia), exhibiting a higher mortality rate than others. There was no evidence of natural regeneration at the time of the visit. A significant drought event was reported to have impacted the site.
