Life Terra co-organises the 2024 STEM Discovery Campaign with Scientix

This year’s Scientix STEM Discovery Campaign is a joint international initiative co-organized with the Life Terra project.

The initiative invites educators, projects, organisations, libraries, schools, universities, youth clubs and all interested stakeholders across Europe and beyond to celebrate careers and studies in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

We see the STEM Discovery Campaign as an amazing opportunity to engage with schools and educators across Europe and beyond and give them the opportunity to join the Life Terra mission and encourage young generations to take climate action.

The campaign runs from 1 February to 30 April 2024, with a peak of activities from 24-30 April.

The Scientix Terra Mission Award

We are also organising together the "Scientix Terra Mission Award". This will honour teachers and educators (students aged 4 to 19) organizing environmental education activities that inspire students to take climate action.

Activities can be:

• Trees Planting Events organized using the Life Terra School Planting Guide

• classroom implementations of the Terra Mission Educational Pack

Prizes: Winners (x2) will be invited to participate in very important dissemination activities, educational initiatives and training opportunities organized by Life Terra or Scientix, gaining this way immense visibility for themselves and their schools.
