Life Terra to attend the 3rd European Carbon Farming Summit

The Life Terra team will be present at the 3rd edition of the European Carbon Farming Summit, a pivotal gathering of policymakers, scientists, farmers, NGOs, and land managers advancing carbon farming and regenerative land practices across Europe.

This year, the conference takes place in the Italian city of Padova from March 17-19. Sven Kallen, Founder of Life Terra, and Marcos López, Project Manager and Carbon Removals Coordinator, will attend the conference on Tuesday, 17 March.

Life Terra is involved in carbon credits that remove CO2, thanks to our large professional tree-planting projects in more than 30 European countries. Our credits are rooted in real, nature-based restoration projects that involve the local community to tackle climate change, biodiversity loss, and land degradation.

Credits are verified under the aOCP standard of carbon offsetting (action On-Chain Protocol from ASES). The aOCP is a nature-positive certification standard for carbon offsetting and biodiversity restoration that assesses the removal and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, along with the biodiversity, soil and water benefits that projects generate.

We believe carbon offsetting shouldn’t be just about numbers. It should restore ecosystems, empower rural areas, and drive long-term success. This is why our projects are co-created with and financially support local landowners and communities to ensure transparency and lasting impact.

If you are active in the carbon market, we invite you to join us at the European Carbon Farming Summit!
