Site Visit: Lupendorfer Pferdezucht Basedow

A recent visit to the Lupendorfer Pferdezucht Basedow planting site provided a valuable opportunity to observe the progress of the project. The site, located in Germany, was assessed in mid-May 2025. Observations indicated generally positive outcomes. Maintenance activities, specifically weeding around the planted saplings, had been carried out. The trees displayed overall vigorous growth. Natural regeneration was also noted, with evidence suggesting an intentional approach to allowing this process to continue. Despite a period of drought that affected the area, a significant number of the planted trees are thriving.
