Monitoring Visit to the Marienwaerdt Planting Site

A recent monitoring visit was conducted at the Marienwaerdt planting site in the Netherlands on March 6, 2026. The general condition of the plot was observed to be excellent. While some signs of browsing by deer were noted, this did not significantly impact the overall health of the young trees. A very high survival rate was estimated for the planted specimens. Particularly strong regrowth was evident among the coppiced elms and ashes, indicating robust establishment and vitality within the site.
